➢ Comprehensive Introduction to Computing: Students will gain a broad understanding of

➢ Essential Study Skills: Emphasis is placed on developing key study and communication

Entry Requirements
➔ Moroccan Baccalaureate degree, high school diploma, UK A2 levels, International
Baccalaureate or equivalent.
➔ Online Placement test B2 level, or IELTS score 5.5, or TOEFL (46/120) or
matriculation / Intermediate / GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification.
Upon successful completion of the Computing Foundation Programme, students have several
pathways to consider:
Carrying on at HESTIM: Progress to obtain a British bachelor’s degree followed by a
Master’s degree through HESTIM’s partnership with It’s Britz education. This option allows
for a seamless transition into higher education while providing the flexibility of joining a UK
university in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of a Bachelor program.
Study Abroad: Alternatively, students may choose to continue their studies directly at a
university in the UK, leveraging HESTIM’s international recognition and partnerships.
Career Readiness: Equips graduates with practical skills and knowledge essential for

Core Modules
➢ Introduction to Business: The Introduction to Business unit provides students with a
comprehensive overview of fundamental business concepts and practices. Students
explore the dynamic interplay between various business functions and their roles in
achieving organizational success through theoretical frameworks, case studies, and
practical applications. Additionally, emphasis is placed on cultivating essential skills
such as communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving, necessary for thriving
in diverse business environments.
➢ Introduction to Accounting & Economics: This unit introduces students to the
fundamental principles of accounting and economics, essential for financial literacy in
business.
Students study the foundations of accounting, such as financial reporting concepts,
basic accounting equations, and financial statements. At the same time, they learn
about economic theory, which covers things like macroeconomic indicators and
market structures. The development of analytical thinking, quantitative abilities, and
an understanding of how accounting and economics influence corporate strategy and
policy are prioritized.
➢ Marketing Principales: This unit aims to present the fundamentals of marketing
including online marketing. It allows students to examine the fundamentals of
consumer behaviour, market segmentation, and product positioning via theoretical
frameworks, case studies, and real-world applications.
➢ Business communication: Students gain knowledge of various communication
techniques in this course, such as interpersonal and cross-cultural communication as
well as written, spoken, and nonverbal communication.
The course covers the subjects of active listening, presenting skills, business writing,
and negotiating strategies. Additionally, students learn how to use digital tools and
technologies for communication.
By the end of the unit, students will have the communication skills needed to succeed
in diverse business environments and build strong professional relationships.
➢ Business Law: This unit aims to provide students with a fundamental understanding
of legal principles and concepts relevant to the business environment. The unit covers
various topics, such as corporate law, tort law, employment law, and contract law.
Students gain knowledge of the legal framework that controls obligations, liabilities,

➢ Management & Organizational Behaviour: This module aims to give students a
comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of behaviour within organizations and
the concepts and practices of management.
➢ Technology for Business: The role of this unit is to explore the intersection of
technology and business, focusing on its applications, and implications, as well as
presenting an overview of the ERP used.
